Friday, March 27, the Steering Committee randomly chose three Finalists from the nonprofits nominated this quarter (April 2026).
The finalists who will present in the order drawn are:

We will be meeting on Thursday, April 9th, 2026, at 6:30 pm in the second floor of Mariposa Museum at 26 Main Street Peterborough. Please find the time for this 1-hour meeting to come and support our charities. If you have time, we'd love you to come at 6pm to socialize for 30 minutes and feel free to look around Mariposa.

Amazing Grace Animal Sanctuary
Intended use of funds: seeking support to purchase a reliable van to transport animals to educational events, community programs, and fundraisers.

Children and the Arts
Intended use of funds: Intended funding will be used to continue providing children and families with a free day of arts-centered activities and support artist residencies within the ConVal School District, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate in the celebration, even if they are unable to attend the festival itself.

Intended use of funds: Funding will be used to purchase yarn, fleece, and quilt batting for distribution to our volunteer blanketeers. They will utilize those materials to make handmade blankets for children from birth through teenagers in need of love, comfort, warmth and security.

Intended use of funds: Need funds to provide Camp and Lesson Scholarships for kids from the Monadnock Region.

Intended use of funds: “If chosen , monies would help us with overall budget and with our on going efforts to find a larger location that would allow Happy Valley School to grow and better support the needs of our children, families, staff, and community. Our goal is to find a space that will allow the HVS community to thrive for many more years to come with plenty of outdoor space.”

Intended use of funds: Funds needed to add an outside ADA compliant book drop box, a water bottle filler (a modern day "bubbler" and and AED defibrillation machine for our meeting space.

Congratulations Monadnock Family Services Adult Care Program located in Jaffrey, NH our Chosen Charity for Jan 2026.
Funds will be used to pay for a new bus, one of the three they run, transporting clients between their homes and the program. The buses must be replaced periodically, and our donation will give them enough money to complete the payment for a new bus.
